NOUN

is the dynamic ongoing project of Marissa Paternoster, the acclaimed former lead singer of the rock trio Screaming Females. Since age sixteen, Marissa has been crafting music under the NOUN pseudonym, releasing three studio albums, numerous home recordings, and singles, often collaborating with esteemed peers. The current NOUN lineup features multi-instrumentalist Phillip Price of Kayo Dot and Moor Jewelry.

About Marissa Paternoster- Marissa Paternoster led Screaming Females for 14 years, emerging from New Brunswick, NJ—a hub of the underground punk scene. Her distinctive vocals, captivating songwriting, and stellar guitar skills earned her a spot among the world's top guitarists in Rolling Stone's 2024 rankings. As Screaming Females’ intense touring and recording schedule eased, Marissa shifted her focus to NOUN, channeling her experiences and creativity into this exciting new project. After a journey of global performances and collaborations, NOUN has become her primary artistic outlet.

A DEER A HORSE

Bathed in dim lights and fire baptized on well-trodden stages, A Deer A Horse wear the grime, grit, and gusto of hundreds of shows like a badge of honor. The band conjoins rock, metal, and punk in an unholy union praised by A.V. Club, Consequence of Sound, Village Voice, and Revolver who described them as “somewhere between the Melvins, Helms Alee, Red Fang, and Sleater-Kinney.” After stoking buzz underground, the group only sharpened their edges with unnerving melodies and cathartic dirges on their 2022 full-length debut album, 'Grind.'

KREAMY 'LECTRIC SANTA

Since 1992 Kreamy 'Lectric Santa has continually altered in line up and form. Haphazardly blending Punk, psyche, prog, experimental, electronic, trash -Long standing members Priya Ray and Robert Price are currently located in Asheville NC. A new LP is in the works and/or certain extenuation.
