Sometime around 2004 Static Age Records began slingin LPs, cassettes and hosting DIY live music. We've grown our record store into a community space that hosts tons of shows, all year long.

Hundreds of touring acts from all over the world have come through, along with a plethora of the ever changing local bands of Asheville. All while keeping a fresh stock of vinyl and tapes for your listening pleasures!
