BOAT COMMAND is a four-piece sonic unit based in Asheville, NC. Described by some as Post Lo-fi Yacht Hop, the sound is founded in jazz and fusion roots but is sustained by the methodologies of more modern genres such as hip hop and electronic music. The philosophy is expressiveness through low volume and allowing space to be a fundamental piece of the delivery. The message is to embrace what boating can do for you.

Boat Command

Sugar Bomb has quickly become one of the more active original jazz projects in Asheville, NC. Performing at local music staples such as 5 Walnut Wine Bar, Burial Beer, The One Stop at Asheville Music Hall, The Foundry Hotel, & The Lobster Trap allows them to flex different musical muscles in styles ranging from more traditional jazz to modern backbeat driven groove to all out improvisatory mayhem, all while honing their skills as composers. 

The trio consists of Jacob Bruner (keys), Eli Kahn (electric/upright bass & hybrid guitar), & Joe Enright (drums), all of whom are full-time musicians living & working in the Asheville area.

Sugar Bomb

Mike is a Jersey cat and an Asheville NC transplant that has been cultivating his groovy sounds for a little over a decade. The sound is rooted in blues, folk, hip hop with all the indie vibes. Since the spring of 2013 Mike has been rocking the mic throughout all of these United States, pleasing ears in some of the finest venues in the area. Mike is coming to a venue near you soon. You ready to get down and move your fuckin' feet?
